Reconstructive Surgery
After being diagnosed with breast cancer and having a mastectomy (complete left breast tissue removal), it was important to me to have reconstructive surgery. Dr. Bindrup and his staff truly have no idea of the gratitude I have for the tag team mastectomy/reconstructive tag team surgery and complete professionalism they have shown! Thru this terrifying experience, the only good thing is that I will still have “my chest” very similar to the one I lost. Upper eyelid surgery is frequently covered by insurance if you are experiencing vision impairment. This surgery is performed in the hospital or an accredited surgical facility. Patients can usually return to work in 1 – 2 weeks.
Abdominoplasty
Tummy Tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, is performed to correct a protruding or loose, sagging abdomen by removing excess skin and fat from the abdominal area. It is not a weight loss procedure. Abdominal muscles that have weakened or separated can be corrected with a tummy tuck. A tummy tuck will not correct stretch marks, although they may be somewhat removed if they are located on the areas of excess skin that will be excised. A flatter profile and firmer abdominal contour will result from this procedure. If the excess skin to be removed involves only the area below the belly button, a mini-tummy tuck may be an option. When undergoing this surgery, you will be asked to refrain from bending, straining or lifting anything very heavy for several days to receive a successful outcome. Patients can generally return to work within 2 – 3 weeks with no strenuous activity and return to normal activity within 4 -6 weeks.

Liposuction, also known as lipoplasty, is a highly individualized surgical body contouring procedure and not a weight loss procedure. Ideal candidates should be within 30% of their desired weight when undergoing this procedure. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that slims and reshapes specific body areas by removing excess fat deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise.
