Winds of Oak Forest

Just bad. The walls are paper thin, you could feel the breeze through the shut window, when my neighbor shuts the door I can feel the vibrations throughout the apartment. I basically lived in my living room during the summer because the AC unit sucks and smells, even after I tried to clean it. Whoever does the carpentry in these apartments must be blind and have only one hand because it's just awful. In the bathroom, not a single tile lines up square, the box they've built to cover up the water heater has about a half inch gap on both the bottom and top (how do you messup both???). The apartment manager is also kind of a B****. I only talked to her three times and that was too many for me. They also raised their rates $100 while I was in there to make their rent $640, I thought I was paying too much when it was $540...not worth it.

I would never recommend this place. I lived here for 3 years and it state out good but as time went on I hated it. I lived in a ground floor apartment and before I moved out I had upstairs neighbors who pissed on my doorstep on numerous occasions. Told the manager and nothing was ver done. Upon moving out there was a little damage but nothing our security deposit could have covered. After a week at my new address I was billed over 500 dollars for rediculous so called "repairs". Rent goes up every year and vehicle was broken into! All in all it's a terrible place to live.......beware future tenants! Only gave it a star cause I had to.

Definitely wouldn't recommend this place! Outsides are okay but insides are way outdated for prices but all in all its livable except for the no central heat and air! Winters aren't that terrible but summers are miserable! Only source of heat and air is a small unit in living room which does nothin for bedrooms! At 500 a month I expect to not be miserable day and night because its so hot! It should be required at their prices!
