Choctaw Event Center

I was excited to see the band Heart. I’ve been a fan since the 70’s. Driving to Choctaw Casino/Resort from Dallas was a breeze. We used valet parking. If you have a meal at one of the casino’s restaurants, parking is free. Once the doors at the events center opens an announcement is made to inform the ticket holders to walk outside and board a bus. This was a very nice touch since it was very cold outside and it would have been a very long walk. The same was done after the concert.



My first impression as I walked into the events center was that I was walking into a high school gymnasium. Chairs were the foldout type. All on level floor so that if you are in a row way back you cannot see the performers unless you watch them on the giant screen. An event center that plans on hosting a “live” performance must have inclined seating. I will not return unless improvements are made. Choctaw management should go The House of Blues in Dallas, TX or the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, TX to experience how to host a live show.



Heart was great as they have always been and I will pay for tickets to see them again but not at Choctaw.
