I avoid this post office when I can. Gift cards mailed through here have been stolen it's an overall bad experience every time.



I tried to mail a priority box - pre-paid through a computerized postage system that saves a few pennies. I simply wanted to be as sure that it would be tracked. The clerk told me there wasn't enough postage. I explained that when one uses this postage program, DYMO stamps, the postage is less. She said "maybe a few pennies but not $.35." As I was on my way to work I couldn't stay and debate. I said it's pathetic that I would know more about this than the post office. She told me to "Come back when the girl is here at 8:30". Come back? Girl? I don't have time to return because of the station clerks incompetence.



They wonder why the postal service is used as little as possible and other well run package/letter delivery services are preferred. They claim their service is invaluable. Far from it. They'd never stay employed in the real world.

Worse postal service ever Mail comes after 6pm and most of the time given to the wrong address. Just recently tracked a package that said delivery was made but I never received it obviously it was given to the wrong address or stolen by the carrier. I tried calling to see what was going on just to sit on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. Problem never resolved

Worse post office in the history of post offices. They "lost" a $500 package that had a signature delivery required. Post man claims it was left on the door (clearly that wasn't allowed since it needed a signature!) They also once left a FLAT SCREEN TV in the middle of my driveway (also signature required but never obtained)



The mail comes as late as 6pm on Saturdays and NUMEROUS pieces of mail seem to simply never make it to my house.



WORST

I had sold a Mac computer on eBay, and also sold an airbrush kit on eBay, and I've used this station to ship out both of them. The woman at the counter told me nothing about insurance on my package, my buyer had received his package completely empty with a note inside with a bunch of numbers on it and a check next to the word "empty". I couldn't be compensated because the idiot at the counter didn't tell me anything about insurance at the counter. I lost over 600 dollars because of these people. Avoid this place at all times and go to UPS in staples in Branford.

Unbelievable. They never have the same mail person, they show up as late as 8pm so you never know when your mail will be there. If the flag is up, they put it down and do not take the mail, and when you call to complain, you are on hold for an hour for them to say "okay, thanks for calling." This town is a joke.
