Shawn and Scott began their quest of bringing the best dog care services to Long Island several years ago. It was after visiting relatives in Cincinnati, Ohio that they were introduced to the notion of superior dog services. They saw that large open play areas coupled with modern cageless sleep suites were the norm not the exception. Their curiosity was peaked. It was then they wondered, what did Long Island have to offer? After an exhaustive search they discovered that Long Island families did not have many suitable daycare/ boarding options. It was important to Shawn and Scott to bring their chocolate lab Kola to a happy, fun and safe place. When exploring their options it was always the same questions that arose. They would ask themselves. would they be comfortable leaving Kola there? Would she be safe in thatplace? Would she have fun with those people? The answer was always No and only as a last resort. They knew they could create a better environment that all of Long Island families deserved. They wanted to share with Long Island the superior dog services they saw out west.Their journey to create an ultra clean, modern and safe place that Kola would be proud of began. After extensive research they have brought together the most innovative and modern techniques available to bring you,The Social Hound. They have created the best thing to happen to your dog since coming to live with you!
