Edison Diner

Very good I love your brown gravy. The hostess is always very nice and it might be simple, but I love the turkey club.

I am disgusted by this place. Last night we went there for dinner and my food was served to the table next to me. After they picked over it they realized it wasn't their food and returned it. Their food came out immediately. My food was then served to me unwrapped and cold. I brought it to the waiter's attention that he just gave me the same plate that was given to the table next to me. He said he would get me a new plate. A few minutes went by and the plate was returned to me now wrapped. I openned my food and saw it drenched in oil. They just put the same food in the fryer and returned it to me. Again I told the waiter who offered me new food, but I declined. Who knows what else goes on in that kitchen. I was then given my check. I went up to the manager and brought it to his attention. He was the same individual who took the plate back from the other table! He claims to have not known and that they don't do things that way. He avoided making eye contact with me and still expected payment for that meal. I paid the bill and left. After going to this diner for years I will never return.

Food was good, service could use improvement...would return...!

I have lived in New Jersey for over a year now and frequented the Edison Diner. I have to say I always receive poor service but the last time was the worst. My waitress was rude and not helpful, the managament was very unfriendly. They double charged me on my card for the dinner then refused to help me fix it so I had to stop the payment through my bank. I would not recommend this diner I would suggest going to the one on 18 or the Skylark.
