        About LZ Construction We are a close knit, family run Custom Remodeling and New Construction Company in San Diego, California with more than twenty years experience in the industry. For your protection and peace of mind we are fully licensed #513554 Class B and carry both liability and worker's compensation insurance. When needed on a project, our subcontractors are also fully licensed and insured and we manage them closely throughout the course of your project. We specialize in partial or whole house remodels and renovations, room conversions, small to large additions, garages, kitchens, bathrooms, large patios, second story additions and new home construction. L.Z. Construction offers full design/build services which enables us to design and manage your project exactly to your specifications from the first phone call to the day we shake your hand when we are done. We are experts in all phases of the construction process so the quality and timely completion of your project can be assured. Our design, engineering, reprographics and permitting division is fully functioning which shortens the amount of time from concept to permit. We have a complete team of field professionals who will knock down the first walls all the way to rubbing the shine into your new finishes. For portions of the project you might choose to design or complete yourself, we will offer our guidance and professional opinion when appropriate. Our customers are our primary concern. By guaranteeing our work and being available and following up after the completion of a project, we establish a comfortable and lasting relationship with all of the people we do work for. In fact, most of our work comes from referrals.

        Great value for money!

        The LZ Construction Company has just completed a reconstruction project on our home replacing a garage with a 12’x12’ den and a bathroom. We have had several reconstruction jobs done over the years with other companies, and we have no doubt that the LZ Construction Company out-performed all the others. They designed a really attractive product and presented a competitive budget, to which they kept exactly. The standard of work in all areas—wood framing, boarding, oak floor, windows, tiles, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. was meticulous and outstanding. No detail was too small for their helpful attention. Their personnel were uniformly pleasant and helpful. They finished the job on time. We strongly recommend this company to others.
