General Info: Based in Milan, Ill., Lewis Machine & Tool Company Inc. provides weapons, components and modular weapon systems to the U.S. Military, law enforcement and government agencies. Founded in 1980, the company designs and fabricates complete weapon systems, grenade launchers and monolithic rail platform (MRP) systems, specifically for the demanding environments that military and law enforcement face on a day-to-day basis. It also produces a full line of accessories and components for the commercial market, complementing any M16 or AR15 type weapon. Lewis Machine & Tool Company Inc. has received Illinois Quad City Small Business Government Procurement Award for excellence in state and federal government procurement.
