I called to find out a price for a spa filter. They did not have it in stock, but could get it in about a week. The price quoted seemed a little high. I went on-line and found the same filter for less than 1/2 the cost. In less time I spent on the phone waiting for Leslie's sales staff to tell me they did not have it - but could get it, I ordered 2 of the filters. The total amount on-line for 2 filters plus shipping and handling was $10.00 less than one filter would have cost in their store. No wonder stores are closing. Not only do they not carry the products we need, but they charge exhorbitant prices to get them. More and more I am keeping on-line businesses and UPS and the USPO going strong.
