Stratford Commons

Prior to my mother passing away in 1996, she lived at Commons for sever years. She had been basically sedately at home, but when she moved to we had to get an answering machine to be able to communicate with her. She was always playing UNO, Canasta, Eucher or having ladies over for dinner. I personally believe by my mother moving into Stratford, it extended her life at least 10 years. She suddenly had a life again; she had friends and loved being active. Now that I am all grown up, and of age, I often consider moving to Stratford Commons.

I have been living here for 1 year and I am very happy. There has been a few problems with the heat/air conditioning as the system is very outdated and I don't think the original setup was thought out well. The building is kept clean and the staff are great from the office thru janitorial. It is very quiet and my neighbors are respectful and courteous.
