St Joseph's Apartments

NO one is there on site in emergency, weekends or holidays. IN renovating that apt complex, the temp apt my mother was put in, the phone was shut off, and my mother's usual phone number someone else was using, Called the phone company, was told the phone in temp apt mother was put it, was assigned to the apt complex, and they hadn't paid that bill. Meantime, we shut off moms regular phone number someone was using, to get turned on in temp apt..still waiting. THE office folks said..we'll see about it MONDAY, (and this was friday pm). Meantime, no working phone, means my mother's life alert wasn't on. Further, no way to get ahold of my mother, no one can get into the building if she can't buzz them in via working phone. ..Bluntly put, I wouldn't send a sick dog to live in this place or any place like it! Unfortunately, its the only place in Elmira that had an opening years ago, and its at the location mom wanted...Only 1 working elevator, thats always breaking down, an office/staff crew as lazy as they can be, and detached from any human emotion as you can get/not taking situation seriously unless someone gets hurts/dies is when they MIGHT get the idea something is wrong ...Frankly, I think this place, St Joseph's Apartments, Elmira NY (owned/run by Conifer), and any place like it, should be shut down, put out of business.
