Teeth Cleaning
Dental prophylaxis is a specialized teeth cleaning treatment that is performed by a dental hygienist or dentist. During a prophylaxis treatment, the hygienist cleans the teeth and gums using specialized dental equipment, removing tartar and plaque that build up, both above and below the gum line. Removing this material on a routine basis helps prevent cavities, tooth decay, and periodontal disease (such as gingivitis and periodontitis ).
Dental Sealants

Fillings
A composite filling matches the color of the tooth, which is one of the primary advantages of this filling material. It also requires less of the original tooth material be removed and chemically bonds to the tooth, making it an ideal restorative choice. However, it is not as durable as an amalgam filling, may take longer to apply, and may cost more.
Crowns
While a crown is used to replace a single tooth, bridges are used to replace multiple missing teeth, filling gaps between existing teeth. Root Canal Treatment
It may be difficult for a patient to tell if they need a root canal treatment. Symptoms that might indicate a problem with pulp tissue include pain, sensitivity to heat, cold, or touch, discoloration of the tooth, and swelling in the lymph nodes.

Dentures are removable replacement teeth made for teeth that are missing. A complete denture is used when all the teeth are missing. When some natural teeth remain, a partial denture is used.

A dental implant is an option for replacing one or more missing teeth. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root, a post made of titanium, that is surgically planted into the jawbone and used to support dental restorations. It is unique in that it creates an artificial tooth root in the bone and gums of the mouth and is the most modern replacement of a missing tooth that technology has to offer.

He especially enjoys oral surgery and while in dental school pursued extra-curricular externships during his breaks to further his education in surgery at the University of Kentucky, Vanderbilt University, and University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
