Immaculate and very welcoming Mazda Tech Center. All should be this way! Simon Kim sets the standard for excellence in customer service - friendly, efficient, accommodating, thorough. Smart. The center is very comfortable.

I highly recommend this dealership and sales associate Jeff. He was great! Really listen to everything, I was looking for didn't feel pressured at all. I couldn't be happier to have stumbled into this dealership and work with Jeff. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and really when above and beyond to get the car ready and give me all the details on a late Saturday night. Truly appreciated everything he did, So I could enjoy my new ride home. If you're think Mazda I recommend the Autobarn of Evanston ask for Jeffery Williams.

This was my first *fun* car buying experience. Sales consultant Sonny Dulas was super helpful and friendly while I was deciding to purchase a pre-owned Mini Cooper Countryman from The Autobarn Mazda of Evanston. Closing the sale and the delivery process was quick, smooth, and zero hassle. There was even a party going on in the customer lounge while I was signing the paperwork! My vehicle was ready for me in the front of the showroom and was impeccably detailed. Not a high ticket purchase, but they made me feel as important and valued as any other customer.

I worked with Chris Reis at The Autobarn in Evanston. I started out learning more about the vehicle itself which I was somewhat familiar. I then asked about pricing to purchase the car and he shared how it is a popular car with great reviews that holds its value. He shared with me the number and it fell within the range I had researched based on my particular wants. I then wanted to learn more about leasing and why a person would do so. He was patient and taught me a lot about the process growing my knowledge base based on what I had researched. I ultimately went the 3-year leasing route. Signing up was easy especially when you have good credit. I highly recommend Chris Reis and John who handled the financial side of things. If you are in the market, head to Evanston and the Autobarn. I'm a bit of a car nerd, but not as familiar with the Mazda lineup. I had originally showed up to buy a VW GTI from a nearby dealer, but found the seats on the new model uncomfortable, thus ending its 5 year stint as "my dream car" ). My basic criteria were: Fun to drive, manual transmission, sun roof, heated seats.
So, we visited the Mazda dealer next door. I liked the looks of the 6 (though it's a bit big for us) and I've been eyeing the 6 diesel's possible introduction to the USA (I figure Dieselgate all but killed that. Thanks VW....). The 3 also looked nice, and I appreciate the fact that Mazda offers a manual transmission on most of the lineup (at least the ones that would likely appeal to an enthusiast). I also like that Mazda is one of the few independent automakers left in the world.
Everyone we dealt with at the Mazda dealership was friendly, knowledgeable, and were clearly *interested in cars* (oddly, a rarity!). They were not interested in playing any games or jerking us around, as many car dealerships have in the past. Our salesman, Mirza Peksin, knew *everything* about the cars we test drove, from engine/transmission comparisons within the Mazda line and its competitors to knowing down to the sub-sub-sub menus of the infotainment system. He was also funny and straightforward.
Our finance person, Chris Norton, was more of the same. Another friendly auto enthusiast who knew his product, had fun with his customers, was very straightforward, and shepherded us through the process with confidence and humor.
Before this buying experience, ANY Mazda had been at roughly spots 9-10 on my "top-10 cars to consider buying" (though a Speed3 or Speed6 might've bumped that up :) ). Thanks to the lovely driving dynamics and value proposition of the Mazda3, plus the awesome experience with Mirza and Chris, there is now a picture of a Miata on my fridge, put there by my wife, replacing the VW GTI, to focus us on saving for our next car.

i love my 2016 mazda3 hb!!! simon kim has been helping me take care of her for timely maintenance, as well as any other issues and concerns i've come in for.
Simon is always pleasant, professional and attentive. He is also always willing to accept any coupons i present him with, which i greatly appreciate. Simon makes me feel valued and respects my time. both are rarities for a woman when dealing with car repair/maintenance.

I bring my Mazdas (RX-8 and now CX-5) here for maintenance. Simon Kim in the Service Department is one of the best! He is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've been going to him for a few years now and always have a positive experience.

You cannot beat the customer service at the Mazda Service Center! Juan Vargas is the best service rep I have ever had the pleasure of working with because he is incredibly generous and considerate. He has gone out of his way time and time again, way beyond his job description. Thank you for that, Juan!! You make the Mazda Service Center my first choice for car repair.

Juan Vargas has been Autobarn Motors' customer service representative for multiple visits for maintenance at the dealership. This time, like all those before it he has been wonderful to work with. He has been very polite and professional, displayed excellent communication to apprise me on the progress of my vehicle in the process, and knowledge of my vehicle and the services available to keep it running at its best.
In the future I will make sure to specifically request Juan's service when I make appointments for further maintenance.
