I run an excavating company in the Scranton area. Last year I was digging a foundation for a home in the area when I ran into hard rock. It was obvious the rock would need to be blasted. I got the name of a local blasting contractor from a friend in the excavation industry. Hayduk Enterprises returned my call within the hour, and was happy to come out for a free estimate. When I accepted their proposal and all permits were obtained, they came out within days to begin drilling. Soon after, Raymond Hayduk and his crew came out to do the blast.
