Business History

Roy & Mickey Pearson founded Pearson’s Appliance as an Appliance Repair business in 1954. Gradually Pearson's Appliance extended into sales to be Fairfield's largest independent appliance business. At the end of the 70's, Roy was ready to pass the reins to his four sons: Roy, Steve, Dan & Pat. In 1984 Pearson's Appliance moved to their low overhead warehouse in Cordelia at the I-80 - I-680 interchange. In 1989 Pearson's bought Karlstad's Appliance & TV in Woodland (later closed in 2015), in 1994 Chandler's Appliance in Vacaville, and in 2015 Harbison's Appliance in Napa. Pearson's Appliance is now a three store multi-million dollar operation.
