I wish I could give 0 stars! I went in for a tattoo of a pine tree with the roots creating the state of Maine. Oh my god it is terrible! I cried for hours! the state of maine looks like a squished Texas. He asked where I was from (pittsfield) and put a random star that is no where near pittsfield. The roots look like blobs. The state out line is nothing like maine, and there was a picture of the state of maine on the wall behind him. There are random black lines on the branches of the tree where he messed up. He didn't have me fill out paper work. I thought he would at the end but he didn't and I tried to run out of there as fast as I could I was so upset. Also, my boyfriend heard his wiife on the phone asking for "2 fifties".....(heroin). At least the needles were brand new. thankfully I have a friend that is good at cover ups but I will have to probably pay $400 to fix this disgusting tattoo that looks nothing like the picture I provided!!!!!!!!! I've always wanted a tattoo from my home state, but this guy ruined something very important to me!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place sucks, and careful with who you get! The guy who did mine, ignored me for the first 10 I was in the shop. Said that he was waiting for his appointment in an hour. Then he decided to do mine after another 10 minutes. The guy didn't even tell me his name. After I filled out the paperwork they left me waiting around ignoring me again. When I finally got to sit down and start my tattoo, he rushed through it! After he finished I noticed the lines are uneven, he missed a couple spots, some spots have no ink. and he didn't connect the lines. It's not a hard tattoo, just a simple word! So now it's been a week and the scab has flaked off... it looks TERRIBLE!!! I followed his exact aftercare intructions, the ink has been sucked out from black to a very light grey, it has a lot of bald spots, over all it's a very poor rushed through tattoo. I'm embarresed to show it off. I'm getting it fixed at a MUCH better AND CLEANER place soon. Till then it's covered up. Don't go unless you want a really messed up tatoo

not only did i get my best tats done at ink 4 life but the best prices by far. ive had work done at house of ink and redneck and these guys r the best hands down. Not just the amazing work they do but Ink 4 Life was the most professional!

While I was happy with my tattoo, the detail and shading turned out great, I did not care for the environment in INK4LIFE. As i mentioned before; my tattoo turned out great and i love it, but I would not go back to INK4LIFE for another tattoo. I did not like the blaring loud gangsta rap played constantly, and I did not appreciate other people (workers, maybe?) coming over and making comments and sneers at me while i was getting my tat. Getting a tattoo is a pretty intimate experience, and I didn't like that fact that the person tattooing me couldn't even talk to me because the music was so loud. I could barely talk to my friend who was there for my moral support over the music, and the shop owner's friends would come over and laugh at me while i was getting my tattoo done, no i didn't cry, but getting a large tattoo on ones ankle hurts! and I didn't appreciate the staring and crude comments. I would not tell a friend to get a tattoo here, I would tell a friend to get piercings done by Mona however, she is wonderful, respectful, and she does her work cleanly. So no I wouldn't recommend getting a tattoo at INK4LIFE but I would recommend getting a piercing done by Mona.

I took one of my clients into the shop and he had some piercing done, he also spoke with the artist about a furture visit and a possible tatoo. Mona was professional and clean, the word perfect comes to mind if only one word could only be used, becausw anyother description would require more words. Her station was clean, she took careful note of everything she did in her procedures, explaination before, during, after and how to follow the after care to make the visit a success and have no chance of infection! Her touch was gentle and she really strives to make sure the customer is happy, and the experience will have a positive out come.

I was impressed with the information and books with accual photo's of work done by Mona, Bob & Bill. The shop has family rules and a touch of class with refreshments on sale and some snacks if needed. I myself do home health care and go into people's homes and strive to see that every comfort and privacy option is available along with the personal touch of really knowing what I am doing and being prepared to work in any environment. Rather you are someone who has lots of means or little means this shop offers reasonable specials, and many features allowing all walks of life and doesn't discriminate. They make sure all of thier rules and procedures are followed and strive to be better so the risk of infection is none. This faimly buisness is a cut above the rest allowing everyone and seeing the normal bad element normally thought to be around this type of buisness is stopped at the door. I would feel comfortable bringing any age person in here due to the atmosphere and advise everyone else to visit this local buisness.

Ink 4 Life goes above and beyond helping with fund raisers like collecting bra's for cancer research, gathering food for the food pantries, and really showing this buisness care for the community it's located in. Two thumbs up and way to go for this buisness I am proud to say I am a customer and would tell anyone to go here without any worry because like my experience I feel yours will be as wonderful. WALKED INTO INK 4 LIFE THIS MORNING AND THE FIRST THING WE SAW WAS THAT IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND BOB AND MONA WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. SO INSTEAD OF ONE TATTOO MY WIFE JOINED ME AND SHE GOT ONE AS WELL. BOB TOOK CARE WITH HER AS THIS WAS ONLY HER SECOND TATTOO.BOB FEATURES $20.00 TATTOOS AND MONA FEATURES $10.00 PIERCINGS 5 DAYS A WEEK.I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO AT LEAST CHECK THEM OUT AND GIVE THEM A TRY. i GIVE THEM AN A+ FOR PROFESSIONALISM ,TALENT AND HAVING A DRAMA FREE ZONE
