Essex County Educational Services Commission is based in Fairfield, N.J. The commission operates various schools, including the Essex Campus Academy, Essex High School, the Essex Junior Academy and Sojourn High School. It offers a wide range of educational services and programs for students in its schools. The commission also controls and supervises the functioning of various schools and academies. Its range of services and programs includes the extended day program, homeless education program, least restrictive task force and migrant education services. The commission also provides several other programs and services, such as transportation, the supplemental educational services program and services for public and nonpublic schools.
