Edie's Restaurant

We will NEVER again go inside of Edie's restaurant in City of Fairmont, Minnesota yelp.com/biz/edies-resta…!!!! My husband Mark Bergeron, My mom Patricia Swenson & myself decided we wanted to have our morning coffee and a breakfast at Edies restaurant this morning. We went in and ordered coffee and breakfast. The waitress was okay at 1st but then quickly turned on us because we took too long to order our meals, I guess....The waitress then said, "If you want me you will have to yell for me"! Well after a few minutes, my husband began to place our orders and I wanted the cheese omelette and the waitress asked "what kind of bread do you want white or wheat?" I replied wheat but then I said "Wait, bread doesn't come with my order" she replied "YES, it does! The waitress got very snippy and pointed it out to me and became extremely flustered and repeated herself and said "WHAT BREAD, WHITE OR WHEAT?" So I replied, I said WHEAT and told her I said that already. After she had taken down our orders, she QUICKLY SNATCHED the menu out of my husbands hands! We left it go, but then my husband Mark asked me "do you still want to eat here?" I said, well maybe she is having a bad day. In the meantime my mom preceded to tell us both that there was another time when she had went there herself to have a malt and the waitress had only given her half of the malt she had paid for and my mom said, "where is the rest of my malt?" The waitress replied "You don't get the rest". Then the waitress sat down and preceded to drink the rest of my moms malt that she had paid for and did it right in front of her! Well then we all started up a new conversation and then I happened to notice that the waitress wasn't coming back to our table to refill our coffee cups and had all together just disappeared. Then I told my mom and husband that it didn't even look like they weren't even preparing our breakfast order! Well then I said out loud "We need coffee at this table please! Only a few seconds had passed and the young manager marched up to our table and said, " We got a problem here"? My husband said "no" we don't but your waitress does. Then the manager replied "I want you all out of here because I won't have you disrespecting our staff"! My husband said, " Can I please have the chance to explain what's going on with your waitress and the manager, replied, "NO GET OUT AND DON'T COME BACK AGAIN"! We were all in complete shock because we had done nothing wrong and we were being treated this way??? The manger blatantly refused to listen to our side of the story. Even as we were getting ready to leave, a customer that was behind us had asked us, "What did you guys do wrong"? My husband replied, "Nothing". As we were leaving my mom said, "well that's okay, my meal is on them then" because she had ordered before we did. What is this world coming to! I will be sharing this 3 times a day, everyday and I would appreciated if my friends and family can share our story of mistreatment. My mom will be contacting our local newspaper and I will be contacting our local news team. Please carefully review my story and tell me, do you think we were in the wrong? I was even trying to give consideration to the matter, that maybe this lady was just having a bad day and that is more consideration then she or the manager had given to myself and my family. This just needs to be made right because we done nothing wrong and did not deserve to be treated in such a manor and publicly humiliated! Thank you and please don't forget to share.
