The Marion County Adult and Community Education Center operates an education system that serves adult learners. The center provides assistance with the development of problem-solving and thinking skills. It conducts general educational development tests in the areas of writing, social studies, science, literature and mathematics. The Marion County Adult and Community Education Center also offers assistance with resume writing, job application, interviewing processes, goal setting, problem solving, communication skills and stress management. In addition, the center provides a computer integrated manufacturing course, which is a multicomponent curriculum course. It offers various vocational and educational placement programs. The Marion County Adult and Community Education Center is accredited by the West Virginia Department of Education. It is located in Fairmont, W.Va.
