        The store is a little hard to ...

        The store is a little hard to find in Fall River but with a gps, no problems. My wife and I looked at the Home Depot for window treatments and it seemed like the products they sold were cheaply made. We found this company online and decided to check out the show room. They deal with Hunter Douglas window treatments, which are a little pricey but the quality is unlike anything you'll find at a box store. The warranty is limited lifetime from Hunter Douglas as well. The employee who helped us at the store was also the person to come to our home and measure the windows. We thought that was nice that it wasn't a sub contractor. After 2 weeks, the special order wood blinds came in and the same employee came out to install. We love the blinds and love the fact that we dealt with 1 person through the whole process. We've had nightmares with some sub-contractors. We would definately deal with this company again. FYI.... Use your GPS

        Blind Cleaning

        My honeycomb shades and mini blinds were over 10 years old. Scott from American Wallpaper came to take down the blinds and said they would be back the very next day. He gave me a realistic expectation of what to expect in terms of how they would come out.



        He was way too conservative. I could not believe how great they came out. For a very reasonable price, the 10 year old blinds no longer had that grimy, gross look, but appeared fresh and bright. They even repaired one of the blinds that needed a part at a very nominal cost. I am going to do this on a yearly basis as part of my spring cleaning!



        I have dealt with American Wallpaper before for paint, wallpaper, and window treatments. What a pleasure it is to go into a family-run business where people know what they are talking about and give you proper information. You may think you are getting a bargain at a large store or on line, but for me, I would rather have the service and in the end...it really costs about the same.
