He may be wonderful with dogs and cats, but definitely not with guinea pigs. I took my guinea pig to him when he was losing his hair and had very dry, flaky skin. He had not idea what it was. He gave me some vitamins for him and new shampoo that contained aloe and told me he just has dry skin. My piggie kept getting consistently worse so I found a different veterinarian to take him too once he was almost dead (literally). She was appalled that any veterinarian could've misdiagnosed his symptoms. She told me that 99.9% of the time when a guinea pig shows signs like he did that it is mites and needs to be treated immediately. Luckily, this other veterinarian saved his life, but I was very disappointed with Dr. Stevenson. Again, I have never taken any other type of pet to him so he may be wonderful otherwise, but I would advise any guinea pig owners to find another veterinarian.
