Cumberland Nursing and Rehab Ctr

I would give no stars on this place but that is not a option. My Uncle has been in there for over a year. He has since went down hill was put in there for rehab he is now on hospice care. These people have took all feeding and hydration from him. Which we agreed too. But they where supposed to give him comfort care. Well we went up there several times and this past week we went and noticed he was in pain and agitated. So we checked with the nurse if he had any medication the nurses reply was well if I come in and he is agitated I just leave him alone for a few hours and come back. She stayed it was a lot of trouble to give him meds. Went there again yesterday and asked the nurse about meds she looked in his chart and noticed he had no meds since Monday when we where up there. So we had a meeting with the administration and the doctor and hospice nurse. They seemed to get it straight for now while we where there. But now someone is going to half to make sure they are giving him his meds like there supposed to. Please people do not send your loved ones to this place.

This place has some of the oldest furniture I've ever seen and I'm 66......had my mother there for rehab therapy.....had to hold my nose to walk from entrance to her room or risk passing out from the smell. Food was lousey.....I usually cooked at home and brought her m



meals in, her clothing was always missing......never again!
