Scally-Wags Pet Grooming

Scallawags has been grooming my dogs for many years. I was so fortunate to get in on the ground floor when they opened. They are the best in the business! Their books are full for a reason. They are THAT good! In addition to their incredible skill, they are also true dog lovers. This means ALL dogs; from highest pedigree to rescued “mutt”. My fur babies run the gamut from “Westminster Best In Breed pedigree heritage” to “found on the roadside in a ditch”. Scallywags loves them all equally and grooms each to a standard of perfection.

More importantly, they treat each dog as an individual. For instance, in the case of one of my very “unique” rescue dogs of “undetermined breed” (Mr. Thomas), Allison, being a “Picasso with Scissors”, created a unique cut for this pitiful little dog that caused him to look so amazing, we were constantly stopped on the street and asked...”Wow! What kind of dog is that?! Where can I find one?” Additionally, Bryan, Allison’s loving, modest and supportive husband (who is also an accomplished professional artist and master color theorist whose works are sold at Disney Orlando), created funky ombré color streaks for one of Mr. Thomas’s ears. My goodness that doggie looked like a Rock Star! When Mr. Thomas passed at the age of 16, Allison & Bryan cried along with us.

You see, to Scallywags, every dog in their care becomes family. They don’t just “groom”. They create masterpieces!
People with gifts and talents as rare as these come along once in a lifetime. Do yourself a favor. Get on their waiting list and call to check back once a year. If you are fortunate enough to procure a spot for your fur baby thank your lucky stars and say a prayer for the unknown person/pet who probably died to open up that spot for you. That is pretty much the only way to get in at Scallywags, because no one stops going to Scallywags unless they die. Once a person has experienced Scallywags, they never want to leave!

Just took my rescue dog here for grooming per a friend's recommendation and was extremely happy with the results. Price was reasonable and the staff extremely helpful and very pet friendly.

I can tell you this is the most awesome place to take your pets. My buster loves them, and they love him. He is always excited to get his bath, cut and groom.

This groomer is absolutely FANTASTIC!. My three pups have been going here and they just love it, and I love the way they look! Allison & Brian are professional, kind, full of good cheer and genuinely love animals! You couldn't ask for better, more expert groomers with the biggest hearts around! MG.
