Designs By Guzzardos

If I had a choice to leave a -10 I would. I ordered thru 1-800-flowers and I'm not sure how it works but my guess is they have figured out that there is really no identification it's from them and all complaints would go to 1-800. Well after some detective work I found out which florist delivered the ugliest bouquet ever! It was hideous. I ordered roses and daisies and other cute random flowers, so cute barely any grass filler. What was delivered (a day late mind you) was a few yellow roses that never opened, tons of leafy green crap and the biggest clump of hydrangea that was dead within an hour. When we thru out the climb of ugliness it looked like everything was chewed by caterpillars and lil black flies were everywhere. I was mortified! Make sure u never use 1-800 as well as this florist, total rip off!

This happened on 11/17/16 . My grandmother died and we live out of town. We ordered the flowers through our local florist and the used Designs by Guzzardos which was near the Hopcroft funeral home in Hazel Park Mi. The flowers were to be there at noon the next day for arrived for when the showing started at 2p. We got there no flowers. We contacted our florist who kept calling Guzzardos. All the way up to almost before the service at 7p the 2 orders had not arrived. Finally the flowers from the grandkids come but never the flowers my mom had ordered for her mom. I communicated to our florist several times during our time there, they would be in the phone with Guzzardos who kept making all sorts of excuses. Said they brought them and that the funeral director must have them. He did not. grandma was the only customer there so there was no mix up. All afternoon they had said yes they were on the way. Our florist told them they would have to refund the delivery. Then when the 2nd order didn't come, our florist called them again and they they threatened to come get the ones they delivered back from us and then we could just have none. Really!?. Who does this to grieving people? Then they said they would bring them tomorrow, the funeral was one day only. Such unprofessional behavior. Our florist felt so bad. They are refunding my mom and the designs by Guzzardos is being reported to the FTD!

I love this place, and always give the designer complete control. Never disappointed. Always beautiful. They go out of their way to make you happy. Friendly staff. So glad they are in my neighborhood.
