I went to Detroit location on Grand River and TRULY enjoyed myself!!!! I not only received star treatment lol but I received it at a great cost (much cheaper than any salon). I love Noel! He made me appreciate the "salon experience". The young lady that washed my hair was so very thorough! I will definitely be back. Bless this school!

P and A Scholars Beauty School in DETROIT is a truly a blessing. Words cannot begin to describe how much this means not only to myself but even more to my kids. For them to put together an event like this for us. Us being victims of our circumstances. My family and I are now being housed at a domestic violence shelter. We received a page to report to the cafeteria immediately. I am a single mother of 4 beautiful children and due to my situation I am unable to afford to do much for them. However when we came into the cafeteria the director announces that our families will be treated to get our hair done. My children and I were elated. Upon arrival we were welcomed with so much love and professionalism. This is a wonderful institution that is so selfless and genuine. I consider myself lucky to be here. For them to give so selflessly had me crying tears of joy. Thanks again!!

Do no waste time fooling around with this money hungry school. Admission was $100.00. I guess they thought they were giving us a good deal off the normal $300.00 they charge. They do not follow through on ANYTHING they say. You won't get your uniforms on time, the teacher may or may not show up, and you sit and do nothing but play hookie pokie games to kill time (yes I'm being serious) while the teacher plays music from her phone. Back to the money hungriness. Financial aid should have covered all my expenses, but no. I get a call from financial aid about the fourth day of school saying that I would need to take out a loan to cover the rest of my expenses. Then the woman advised me that I could use my refund to start paying the school back....I was too through. I wasn't even expecting to get any type of refund just the educational experience and my license in the end and to be brutally honest that ghetto hood rat unprofessional facility isn't worth the trouble or the $15,000 it costs to attend. Its like the hood brought to ferndale. The only good thing that school has going for them is Ms. Marcia, and if she was smart she'd open up her own school cuz she is truly a gem and the best thing at that ghetto hot mess, and SUCH a sweet heart.
