Paw Pleasers Pet Resort

We have been taking our dogs to Paw Pleasers for several years and have been very satisfies. We drive about 30 miles to Paw Pleasers to board. The incident described by Mark R. Is tragic, but inconsistent with our experience. We highly recommend Paw Pleasers.

Do NOT take your pet here. My fiance dropped off our dog to visit me around Christmas and our 5 1/2 year old dog supposedly jumped a fence. She was hit by a car overnight and died. The owners did little to nothing to look for her while she was missing until through a Facebook post we put our there to help find her, someone saw our dog on I-26 and my fiance's father picked her up. She was missing for a day and half before we found her. While she was missing the husband drove up and down the main road a few times but never got out of his car though she was spotted once near the woods/highway. My fiance's father who was still in town about to leave for a trip spent 10 hours that day looking for her and the owner acted like it was not their responsibility/they didn't have the time to look. They never went out and walked through the woods never made a serious effort. Every time my fiance's father went to their kennel they asked if he found her yet. As if they didn't have the time. After driving 11 hours back and finding out half way she was hit by a car on I-26 which backs up to the property they lied and told us that this had never happened before and no dog has ever gotten out. Within 48 hours of hearing this. From our post on Facebook regarding our missing dog. Someone responded asking us if it was Paw Pleasers she escaped from. Which we told them yes. We found out that a dog escaped from the kennel just 3 months prior. The women we spoke to whose dog escaped had similar story of owners not helping and lying. They were told they filed reports with all the animal hospitals and sheriff and after checking with friends at the sheriff's office and animal hospital/vets no one had a missing report. They completely lied. When I went back to confront them they admitted to lying and they did all they could. They did not. They barely put any effort into finding our dog and after 5 1/2 years of having her and never jumping a fence she jumped this one. I would not advise anyone to take your dog here. Completely shady. I can't speak for how their service is when the dogs are there because our dog was not there for more than 24 hours. I can live with the fact the accidents happen. But what I can't is how much they could have cared less. They did not put any effort into finding her and then when going to speak with them they lied directly to our face and said "we hope you understand we did it for our business". Why they did not look day and night till they found her is beyond me. Especially when I-26 is visible from the kennel. If that was the case I would feel a little better. What I can say is this did not happen. Do not trust them one bit.

Paw Pleasers Pet Resort is the best boarding facility in the Hendersonville area. Pick up and drop off is quick and easy, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

This is the greatest place for your pet. Our dog loves it here! She is always happy to see the staff, is well taken care of and we do not worry at all about leaving her for a day or a week.



The staff is very attentive, friendly & cares about the well being of each pet in their care.

The minute the car turns onto Felmet my two Miniature Schnauzers know immediately where they are going and begin running from one side of the car to the other until I open the door of the car to take them inside. All the way they are pulling on the leashes to get in. This is the one place that they absolutely LOVE to go to.

My dog loves it here!!! This is the only place I have been able to take him that he can't wait to get through the front door! Very clean and friendly. Would reccomend to anybody who loves their pet!

Irresponsible and seemed to be a complete lack of care! My two dogs came back smelling of urine and feces! Treats and medications were left over that shouldn't have been and denied it! I WILL NEVER BE BACK

Cut My dogs nail way to short and denied it!! I t hurt him bad and bled.Will not be back.

The owners are very professional, clean, clean kennels! I will be back!
