Dental Examination
Regular checkups include a thorough cleaning, polishing, and an oral exam by the doctor. Dr. Shearer attended the University of Kentucky for her undergraduate studies and then the University of Louisville for dental school. Dr. Shearer has volunteered for KY Operation Bright Smile, the KY State Fair Sealant program and as an externship instructor for the AHEC program. She has served as a Missionary dentist in the Dominican Republic as well as an educator and off-site instructor for dental students at U of L School of Dentistry. Dr. Shearer is a current member of the Shinkle Society for The Children’s Home of NKY.

Resin Composite
Tooth bonding is a less expensive and less permanent way to enhance your smile. A composite resin is bonded to the area of the tooth that is chipped, missing, discolored or asymmetrical.
