In modern self-defense, we have to consider that bad guys don't wait for you to block a punch, nor do the grab you and submit to your technique, and they don't fight with rules. They fight back agressively and often they don't see you as a person, you are their prey. Training for self-defense, one must understand certain realities and overcome mental blocks. Train with me and I will help you achieve your potential, learn the proper reactions to have the best chance for defending yourself successfully. This is what you will gain. I've been in martial arts my whole life. Teaching for 5+ years. Main system is Wing Chun and Eskrima. I've taught people from many backgrounds. High school girls to NYPD, Bouncers to Financial Advisors. If you want to learn realistic self-defense, no belts, no trophies, just practical use, then this is the right place. Some of my previous students had experienced actually using their skills beyond training. Such as having survived knife attacks, protecting a loved one from harassment, and even using the situational awareness and pre-fight skills to de-escalate the situation to avoid the fight in the first place!
