        Clayton County Community Services Authority is committed to the amelioration of poverty and the conditions and circumstances of people in Clayton County and the surrounding areas. The agency advocates for the disenfranchised and provides for the delivery of essential services through structured programs that improve the quality of life, lead to self-sufficiency and stress responsible community involvement among its residents. The purpose of the agency is to develop and implement projects and activities that address the needs and concerns of low-income families, the elderly and handicapped residents of Clayton, Fayette and Henry counties. The primary responsibilities of the administration component are to provide support function for each program operated by the agency, such as planning, monitoring, evaluation, training, resource mobilization, public relations, advocacy, coordination, affirmative action, purchasing, and fiscal and budgetary management. The community support component of the agency provides emergency short-term financial assistance along with case management services and resource referrals to families or individuals faced with crisis situations.         My review of Clayton County Co...

        My review of Clayton County Community Service, first of all they provide excellent customer service. They try to assist you in a timely manner, which I think they do a excellent job of compaired to the number of people and attitudes that comes through. I have had excellent service with you you all. The only thing that I would ask to be changed is that when you you all say that you are taking appointment for a certain Month and leave a message and someone will get back with you and you do not get a call until the next month then it to late. Emergency assistance should be taken care of within a two week period. Dont get me wrong I know that you all get swamped with phone calls, thats why the message should say we will try to return your call in a timely manner, that way you are tell the customer that its not deffinent that we will return your call before the month is out. But over all you all do an Excellent Job.
