Sushi Song - Oakland Park

For over a year, I would just drive by. I couldn't imagine walking into a tiny little storefront sushi place next to a pizza joint for raw fish. One very hungry evening, I had a craving and felt quite daring. I walked in and was completely surprised. Cool, dark, and trendy decor with music videos or sports games playing on the bar television. I ordered take-out to play it safe. I ordered a little bit of everything, so I could decide how good or how bad this place was. The fact is that no matter what the place looks like on the outside or inside, it's all about the food. And the sushi was INCREDIBLE! WOW, totally unexpected. I was willing to settle with "OK", but they blew me away. I have eaten sushi at almost all of the local places and this one gets my vote. From cooked to raw, it doesn't matter. You'll enjoy it all. And don't forget a bottle of Saki. YUMMY! Only 2 tables and small sushi bar counter, but it is worth going. This place can battle against all the bigger joints in town. Intimate, good music, and fabulous food!
