Overall

Great food and price! All the pastas and sauces really emulate the chef's passion and heart and soul that pours into his recipes! Very high quality food for at most $17 per plate which would be either the salmon or veal dishes. The amount of food you get is incredible! The chef will even come out, greet you, and sing some Italian songs to top off the end of the night. A must go!

Overall
Very Good

Went there for the first time and really really like it. The food was home made, staff was really easy to get along with'

Parking is the only issue you will have. Room for maybe 8 cars.

Inside was like being home, cozy and peaceful, all the pictures on the wall made the meal all that more enjoyable.

I will defiantly be going back again!

Overall
Subpar food in a family environment.

Our experience at The Italian Connection started with our treck there. We drove past it twice before calling another member of our party for landmarks near it, as it turned out they didn't have the lights working outside. As our party gathered we had a difficult time finding some where to park our vehicles, and had to double park in some instances. After getting our party together, we made our way to the front of the restaurant, at the entrance t was like walking into a mud room in a house, then the second door in the entrance was close and led to nearly no standing room for more than four people. We were greeted by the waitress who was very nice, as was the rest of the staff, which is what I enjoyed most about the place. After being seated, they had to put three tables together to meet our groups needs, the whole environment just felt cramped. Everything was so close together it was a little uncomfortable. The decorations felt very homely, and the crew really tries to make you feel like home, they'll talk with you and they'll joke around, the chef even comes out to sing for you later in the night. The food though, the food was subpar. My personal experience was with the lasgna, the noodles were large, but the meat had been ground very small, there wasn't much cheese in between, it was just over all small. A few reports from some of the friends in the party, one had the spaghetti and stated that the meatballs were the driest he had ever had, there was a lot of garlic with alfredo and noodles with similar recipes.

All in all it felt like they tried too hard, and fell just a little short. I would not recommend for anyone else.

Overall
dissapointed

After heraing very promising things about this spot, we were rather dissapointed at what we found. While the decor was very quaint, the food left much to be desired. The most shocking item in the place was the condition of the restrooms. This always raises the question as to the cleanliness of the kitchen as well. This is not a place I would recommend to others especially if a drive to get there is involved as ours was.
