        Battlefield Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, mathematics, science and computers. It additionally offers programs in social studies and health and physical education. Battlefield Middle School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, soccer, wrestling, track and field, softball and volleyball. The school supports orchestra, band, art, French, Spanish and chorus clubs. Its library has a collection of books, journals, magazines and reference materials. Battlefield Middle School has a parent-teacher organization that organizes several fundraising and other events, including book fairs and craft shows. It is located in Fredericksburg, Va., and is a part of Spotsylvania County Schools.

        The school counselors are not very helpful at all. The school counselor from my son's school had to help with my teen instead.
