Best Budget Inn Fresno

Room #31 smelled lie a wet dog covered with vomit and the window latch was broken, so anyone could come into the room, #36 was a "non-smoking" room that was musty and had a thick stench of cigar, #37 was their last room, and although musty, was the best of the three, smellwise.



The bathroom light switch didn't work. The refrigerator was warm (they apparently turned it up so it wouldn't use electricity). Every light in the room was dim, eye-straining compact flourescent. This window was also missing its latch, but at least there was a stick in the track. Then we tried to take a shower... NO HOT WATER!! They told us maybe too many people were taking showers (at 10pm?), and offered that we could get a refund if we go somewhere else tonight (at 10pm?).



We only stopped at this seedy-loking place because we had serious car trouble, so we were stuck.



The sink drain was clogged, and the fawcet dripped all night. At elast that gave us something else to listen to other than the extreme road noise from the busy street out front.
