If you received sedation, do not drive for the remainder of the day. Avoid soaking in a hot tub, pool, or bath for at least two days following your procedure. You may remove any bandages or dressings four hours following your procedure. You may shower at this point. Please remove all bandages before showering. If you have received a spinal cord simulator you will have special wound care instructions that should be followed.
