Bagel Gourmet

DON'T GO!! They are overpriced and severely lacking in quality. Years ago, when Pat owned it, they were pretty good, not the best, but pretty good. Since then, the quality has just nosedived. being from North Jersey and NY, I KNOW a good bagel. These are not. They are made up of mostly air. They weigh next to nothing, which is a good indicator of the density, or lack thereof. When I slice into one, I see nothing but giant air pockets. You call this a bagel? I can't believe that the press has voted them the best. They should go check out the bagels at the local grocery store, Foodtown. They blow them away. I think the owners should spend a week or two in NY and learn how to make a real bagel. These are an overpriced joke. By the way, my intentions are to try and offer some sound advice and not to offend as I am a local and would like a good bagel. Its just not possible at Bagel Goumet.
