Golden Corral Restaurants

First let me say that my family loves Golden Corral... now to the sad part....we had over 18 people in our group... the young lady that helped us out was nice even though we had to keep asking for utensils, but that's ok...we had family from all over come in because our Dad is dying and we all wanted to make sure we were all here for his final days...so we paid a lot for all of us to be there and together...it was unanimous that we eat at Golden Corral... before we left we asked our server if there was any way we could get a tiny cup of banana pudding to take back to our Dad since we wanted to make him happy and he Loves banana pudding...he can't eat much, but he wanted it and on Sundays apparently they don't make it...our server said no because she could get fired but would send over the manager...he came over and we told him of the request and he said to come and see him when we were leaving...sure thing... everyone was getting ready to leave so I went to the manager and after he finally got through rubbing his eyes and messing with his ear piece he said he would be more than happy to help... just go to the front and get a to go container and take it to the front and they would weigh it out and charge us accordingly...and made sure to let me know it was $4.99 s pound.... really...we didn't even want a child's cup full...maybe half that amount...it's for a dying man...we even had pictures of him in the hospital for proof if needed, but nope...get it weighed and pay for it...it's not like they were going to lose so much money that it would shut them down...we left and got my Dad a strawberry shake from Whataburger instead....if we knew that this location was so heartless we would have gone else where to spend our money to eat....what a shame

Food was cold, staff worst customer service and was just the worst place to take family to eat. Bad bad bad bad................................ Don't eat hear it's a waste.
