Best Buy

We came in to look at cell phones and had someone there immediately to help us. After deciding which phone we wanted to purchase, Travis spent at least 2 hrs with us getting everything set up from my old phone to the new one (changing service providers, etc.). It took time because I didn't have a password for my old phone service. Travis went above and beyond getting everything set up and also transferring a couple of my old voice mail messages that meant the world to me (my Mother singing happy birthday to me -- she died recently and I wanted to be able to still hear her voice; especially since my birthday was the next day). I can't say enough about the service we received and time spent with us getting everything set up properly (and going the extra distance!). Travis is the BEST. Hang on to him! I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

So i called them to see how long it would take for my new phone to come in after sitting on hold for 20 min i hung up and called back spoke to 4 different people and finally spoke with some one from geek squad i asked him what day my phone would be in he stated no later then 3 days i asked when it was shipped out he said today around 130 i was told that some one shipped it out friday 7/3 he stated and i quote "Well if you new your days we dont send them out on non buizznes days" So i asked y did the other person tell me they sent it on 7/3 he said ask them and then hung up on me some british man did this never again will i buy some thing from this store EVER!!!!!!!

Normally when I go into Best Buy I am sought out to see if I need assistance and deal with very competent people. During my last visit to the store not 1 person in the store approached me. Silly me! I was just buying a new phone system and wanted to ensure the headset I was purchasing was compatible or even necessary. I couldn't even find someone to help me! At the checkout the cashier continued a steady conversation with the adjacent cashier and never questioned whether I had needed any assistance or not. Now I must make a trip back to the store to return the headset that I do not need.

i just went to best buy in south elgin and i just have to say

that best buy just has the best deals in town!

and the staff just know what they are talking about
