I was actually looking for someone to help me classify some rocks, minerals and a particular a piece that I perceived to be a meteor. Someone on Facebook recommended I go talk to Fred at the rock shop. I took their advice. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t really sure if the place was open to the public but a lady greeted me and asked if she could help me. I told her that I was wondering if I could show them the few rocks that I had and tell me what they were.she told me that Fred would be the person I need to talk to. So she went and got Fred and I went and got my specimens. We sat at the table outside as he went through And named everything I had. He told me Their value and taught me so much more. He also gave me a guided tour of the inside shop where is there was everything from dinosaur fossils to precious gems to crystals and meteors. I’ve never seen such a selection in my life. Beautiful beautiful beautiful collections. Fred is by far probably the most knowledgeable in his field. In the short time of my visit, he taught me so much. I picked out and purchased a few unopened geodes that Fred offered to cut for me but I wanted to break them with my kids at home. I also purchased a crystal book and a couple little stones. I really really really like this place and highly recommend the rock shop.

I have been doing business with Natural Expressions for years. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in the need of rough rock or some unique slabs. They also have a huge selection of finished cabochons and specimen pieces as well as a wide range of quality material. Their prices are fair and they are really personable people; it is genuinely a pleasure each time I see them.

Won't ever shop here again. I have shopped here several times, but this last time, I drove quite a way to bring some relatives to shop there. I called and spoke with someone who told me their hours of business before we made the long trip, and they didn't mention ANYTHING else. Drove all they way out there and they would not let us inside to go shopping. Apparently now they want to charge their loyal customers a pretty hefty fee to go inside and shop. Didn't bother letting us know this information when we had called earlier. They were completely rude and unprofessional about it with us. Ranting about their electric bills needing to be paid. Customers don't want to hear about a businesses financial woes, and they certainly don't want to pay $30 and $50 fee just to come and shop or look around. They have lost my business and any recommendations to them for good!
