Unfortunately my husband and I were not with our daughter (21) and son (26 perm. disabled) while visiting yesterday. My daughter sat our son down at a table on the patio, and then went inside to make some purchases from the café returning back to join our son while they both ate on the patio. Prior to going to the café, they grabbed some Moe's food for our son which agrees better with his diet. While eating our daughter also saw some of her Wholefoods co-workers occupying one of the café tables enjoying the salads they purchased at Wholefoods. A sunny day, our son was getting hot so our daughter took him inside for a break. She also had her laptop. As she was searching for a table indoors, one of the staff members (a man) very rudely said she could not sit here with a Moe's bag. She then replied that she already made some purchases from the café, and her brother was just sitting with her as she needed to watch him. The staff member continued stating it looks bad for our other customers. He then further made comments stating that the Wifi is not free. Again my daughter said she already made a purchase already. His other comments went on stating that the tables outside are the cafe's property too. Our son even made a comment to the man that he did not intend to eat the Moes as he was done already waiting to take the rest in the bag home. The comments kept coming which made them both feel extremely uncomfortable so they left. Meanwhile there was a young women sitting nearby eating while someone joined her with a drink from another store. I am very surprised at this type of behavior as we have never encountered this type of treatment anywhere, nor have we ever seen other customers treated in this manner. Being such loyal customers, it just gives us a different outlook on Daybreak and of course our children do not want to visit ever again. We don't want to stop coming, we just feel we need to be with our children so they do not receive this type of treatment again.

Daybreak Coffee has the best coffee in the state. It has an authentic coffee shop environment that is classy and relaxing. The people are friendly and the coffee is great! They also gave a great variety of teas for those who are not coffee connoisseurs.
