Do not call this company for anything. Came to my home for a washer repair at 7 pm . this was a Saturday. took $ 200.00 and said they would be back with the part on Tuesday, That turned to Thursday and then they made an appointment for Saturday between 4 and 6 pm. I stayed home and waited as my wife was away. Again no call and I now see a pattern similar to the listing below. Looks like we are getting stiffed I will be filing a complaint at the MD. State attorneys office on 2-25-13 . I will also be advising Angies list and all the other consumer advocates of what this company is .

Maryland Appliance Repair is running at least 3 static webpages and 14 service phone numbers. Do Not Call any of these phone numbers, if you are smart enough to look for review on business before you call.

If you are lucky to get work done on first visit and they fix okay, then you are okay. Which was my case last time I called them for service last year, They came and fixed it and they left. I was happy customer. I only called them then because it was 100 degrees outside in the middle of summer and my AC wasn't working. I called several places where no one was able to come for another 3-4 days but this place said he can come out very next day. I was so desperate that I didn't check their BBB rating which shows F as of today.



Ok, so this time heating wasn't keeping with temperature setting. I was happy to call Maryland Appliance Repair on 12/21/2012. Guy(David) came very next day 12/22. He says control panel has to be replaced. He will order it and it should be in by 12/24. 'Christmas Eve?' I said, he assured me there is no problem getting it fixed by them. Well, he called 12/24 said part didn't come--completely understandable. It's holiday season. Few days later Lynn, customer service called and said there has been delay getting part. Finally she called again to schedule service date to 1/2/2013 between 2-5pm. She called at 4:30pm and told me repairman had to leave due to family emergency, but he will be back next day between 2-7. I still didn't see anything wrong.



1/3/2032 He finally came to replaced part, however, by that afternoon problem still existed. It has not been fixed. I spoke to Lynn at 8:08pm and told her problem has not been fixed. Lynn told me she will have David me right away. No one called.



1/4/2013 Still no call. I called their number, but call went to voicemail. I left msg that problem I called for has not been fixed.



1/5/2013 called Lynn, she immediately offered service date of 1/7 between 1-5.



1/7/2013 I called Lynn at 4:22 to get confirmation that David, repairman will come. She assured me he will come. NO ONE CAME.



1/8/2013 I called Lynn at 8:00 am, their normal business hour. My call goes to voicemail. I tried to call several times, and it continues to goto voicemail. I pull out extra cell phone (my daughter's)and made call. Lynn answers. (hmmm..) She's not sure why David didn't come. She will have David call me. Nothing. I call again at 3:13. I insisted on talking to David, repairman--I said I will hold until Lynn gets hold of him. Lynn gets back to my line and told me they need to order replacement control panel which will in coming in by 1/10 and sets up for service time between 4-7pm. She apologized they didn't know that they had to order part. At this point, I'm boiling. They set up appointment without even having part??!! I am getting upset but figured at least I need to give them one more chance to come out and get it straight.
