McTighes Garden Center

Mctighes is quite a nice garden center. It IS a little congested, however the variety AND quality of the plants is well worth it!!! They have other local nurseries beat hands down in my opinon. I find their pricing to be excellent. I have seen the same plants at other nurseries/garden centers for the same price, however the size and quality of the plants couldn't begin to compete with McTighes. Also, the varieties are nowhere near what they offer here, from perrenials to annuals! They are short on trees, shrubs or bushes. The only reason I did not rate this 5 star is the lack of shrubs and also there are sometimes younger staff who are not so well informed. They do have a wonderful selection throughout the season, unlike other places whose stock dwindles much earlier.
