My family has relied on Green Hill Kennels for nearly 20 years to care for our animals when we are away. I have time and again recommended to my friends and colleagues to take their fur babies to Gene. I can't deny that nothing has really changed in all this time, but I wouldn't want it to! The animals are always well taken care of and loved as if they were at home. I hope that if she sells, the new owners will uphold this kennel's reputation for excellent service that has endured for nearly 70 years.

We took our two dogs to Green Hill the weekend of Jan. 10, 2015. Our dogs were perfectly healthy when we dropped them off. Upon picking them up, we were asked if our Boston had been limping when we brought her in. We said No. We were told that while jumping around she must have hurt her foot because now she was limping. Her foot was badly swollen. We took her to our veterinarian who confirmed that her foot was broken. He surmised that it must have gotten pinched in the kennel crate door, since it showed a visible mark. We went to Green Hill to discuss this with the owner. Her comment to us was that "this type of thing happens all of the time" and that it was "no big deal". We were not there for be nasty, but to let them know what our vet had said. While we were trying to talk with the owner, she kept interrupting and continued to answer incoming phone calls. We would certainly have appreciated and apology. We had used Green Hill once before with good results, however, after this experience we will not be returning to Green Hill Kennels.

I have boarded my animals here for years and I love it!! I currently work at green hill and I love it. It is the best job I have had by far. Gene green is not rude, cheap or mean like any of the other reviews say. Gene is so sweet and nice she is so loving to all the animals that come In and same to her employees. We clean everyday and make sure everything is as spotless as can be. Its been open sense the 60's It's not going to look as new and beautiful as it once did but never the less it's still sanitary and safe for all animals and people. As regards to the drugging of the animals it's not drugging it's a sedative pill that makes the dogs calm down and relax before they hurt themselves we usually give it to them once and by the time it wears off the dogs realize it's not so bad in there. And if the dogs are having stomach problems we give them pills to make them feel better and to stop the diahrehha any other pills given to animals are brought in by the owners and we just follow what they wish. Like I said I had my animals boarded here and groomed here years before I worked here this is an honest opinion and I'm just lucky enough to work here.

I have worked for Greenhill Kennels as an outside contractor for 4 years now. I have never seen any of the conditions alluded to in these negative reviews. The kennels are cleaned every day and all animals are treated with great respect. I have seen Deb, the groomer with many, many animals over the years and I always marvel at how well she handles them. Greehill is a business that I recommend to all my friends and relations

I have taken my cat and two dogs here for a few years now. I absolutely love how they take care of my animals. EverytIme I have picked them up, they've been returned to me exactly how I left them, I don't understand some of these atrocious reviews, this place has given my animals nothing but the best!!! I always have my dogs groomed there by Deb. She is one of the best groomers I have ever taken them to, she's very professional. I definitely recommend this place to all friends and family.

I have taken my dog to Greenhill for many years and have received nothing but the best of care. When I have taken a tour of the facilities I have always found it to be clean and well taken care of. My dog has always come home in the best of condition. The groomer is very caring and always finds out what I want done before any grooming is done. I would recommend this facility to anyone!
