Kirby House

There is actually 3 restaurants to choose from and I choose the Grill room. I had the Lamb Shank which was really good and so was the service.

After a lovely conversation with friends about the poaching of our waters and how fish consumption is totally irresponsible in this day and age, I decided to order the Mac and Cheese with lobster. (Take that Gina.) Much to my “delight,” it turns out that their lobster meat wasn’t lobster at all. In order to do their part in sustaining our waters, the Kirby House graciously replaced lobster with crawfish meat and passed the savings to the consumer. Thank you Kirby House for taking a stand against irresponsible farming of our waters. I’m happy to pay the up-charge for fraudulent advertising as long as you continue to do the responsible thing of misleading your customers.
