Founded in 1923 by local publishing giant Walter Walker, the Avalon saw a 9.65 million dollar renovation in 2014. The Avalon has public events that include movies, concerts, theatrical performances, nationally touring acts and more! We boast recent performances from Clint Black, The Moscow Ballet, Rodney Carrington and Lyle Lovett.         wonderful place for an office christmas party

        excellent catered food, lots of room, fabulous decorations...very nice place to hold an office party of any sort
