Do not even think about it!! I had two salesmen come to my home on 5-21-13 I was in no hurry on this day nor to get the siding of the front of my home done so I did not mind that these men were in my home for quite some time that evening. I am a christian woman so when the son mentioned that he too was brought up a christian I was sold. I signed my contract with agreement that I would get a discount for advertising and a flexible schedule. The installers came very soon after and put up my siding but NO shutters. I tried relentlessly to get a hold of the owner about this matter to no avail. The owner has absolutely no costumer service skills nor do I think he even cares about his costumers. about 2 months later I got my shutters still not getting a return call from the owner. After job was done I looked back over my contract and I paid what I thought to be the legal amount owed. price $1885, deposit $950, subtotal $935, but again I was told of the discount for advertising, and on the bottom portion of the contract that you mail in the line says due upon completion ... 520... So I figured that is what I owed and that is what I paid I then got a bill in the mail for an additional $415.00. I refused to pay as I felt I had legally upheld my part of the contract. Well NOW the owner shows up at my door and threatens me with going to court and court costs. Do you get a kick out of scaring single income women? I paid the remaining $415 although I still think I did not have to. This man cares nothing about people. He is after only the almighty dollar. God help him!!

Zero! I contacted All American Remodeling for and estimate, for roof, gutters, sophets etc. A gentleman showed up to my house, at the appointed time. he was polite. He talked for over 90 minutes about his kids, my kids sports, everything but an estimate. at that stage I told him I had to leave in 30 minutes. Then he went outside, and returned in about 20 minutes. I told him I only had 10 minutes left and I asked for a business card and requested he e-mail or snail mail the estimate. He told me he would not make me late. he did not leave for another 25 minutes so I was already 154 minutes late to pick up my child. He never gave me a business card, and I never got a written estimate. He never described the materials he intended to use. this is how it went. I can do the sophets fascia and gutters , clean up for $6500, but if you sign up now and accept our deal, here is the figure..... he has a pad of paper, crossed out the $6500 and wrote down $4500. I told him I would need at least a week as I planned to talk to other contractors and needed to compare costs. He pushed the notion of "What will it take to sigh up right now" . I repeated that I needed to compare other quotes, and requested a card so that I could follow up on materials etc. he left with his pad of paper, and did not leave a card or any written estimate.
I phoned the main office number the next day to find out the rep's name, and request a detailed estimate. The office manager was a complete idiiot. He was yelling the Meijer offer one-day specials and his business is no different. I asked if I could get a written estimate and he yelled.... we will come out and if you want to sign up right there and then you get the discount. I told him I didn't need to see anyone else, his rep had all the measurements, and he yelled that that is how it is done. I tried to speak but he yelled over me. I hung up the phone.........
be ware, be ready for sign up now on the dotted line...... at least when you have a one day special at Meijer, they display the item, and you have a whole day to check out other stores! obviously, I did not contract with them for any work. the way I look at it, they take a $4500 job and add &2000 to it if I don't agree to the un defined work immediately. laughable!
All American Remodeling takes each and every complaint seriously, and each is investigated thoroughly, this review included. After a thorough investigation of the incident in question, we found the following: 1. There were actually two of our associates assigned to this estimate, one in training and the other was our trainer, who actually performed the estimate, etc. 2. Our Estimator did a proper inspection for the roof, including taking photographic evidence and checking into the attic for signs of leakage, etc, and found it to be not necessary to have a repair or replacement done at this time, and then our Estimator was asked about gutters, and promptly performed the proper inspection and measurements for those as well. 3. It has been reported by both people that went to this estimate that the customer spent a disproportionate amount of the entirety of the time that our associates were in his home showing them soccer videos on the internet from his home country, and through the admission in the review our associates remained polite throughout the visit. It was reported that while we were attempting to lay out the detailed costs of the proposed work, the customer began to mention that he had to go get his kids. At this point, our associate laid out the regular price for the work which was $6,500.00. This is the price that was calculated for the product that was desired, the size of the dwelling, and the labor that would be required, however as we were looking to keep our crews busy to avoid layoffs, we removed nearly all of our margin in the job and reduced that price if we could get the project that day to $4,500 which would have caused us to make almost no money on the job, but it would have allowed us to keep our crews working constantly. Because of the hefty price break the price was valid for the remainder of the day only. Our associate even offered to return later that day once he had picked up his children and completed any other things that he needed to complete to lay out the scope of the work, and allow the customer the ability to still receive the discounted number that was quoted that day. The customer declined this offer, and our associates politely left his dwelling. 4. All calls inbound to our company could be recorded for quality assurance, and this call happened to be recorded. after listening to the phone conversation it was determined that our call center representative was calm, polite, and courteous during the conversation, and responded politely to a customer who's voice volume increased drastically as the call went on. During the call, we even offered to send our estimator back out to lay out the detailed cost of the job for him, and explain exactly where each portion of the cost comes from. The customer began to shout at our CSR and then the call was ended. These findings lead us to the determination that all proper procedures and protocols were followed by our representatives both in the field and in the office. It is of our opinion that the situation was handled with the best possible customer service by our representatives. This incident was also discussed by senior leadership within the company to determine whether or not we should revise any policies or procedures within the company based on this incident, as is any complaint of this level of severity or greater, to ensure that our policies provide the best possible customer experience.
