Art Van Furniture

The website states there is a kids castle that is available so the adults could shop in peace. This was not the case. They are turning that section into an electronics section, so the website is inaccurate. While I tried to keep my 4 kids occupied, the salesperson asked me several times to move ottomans. Granted they were so my wife could mix and match with a sofa, but I think that the employees there should have taken that responsibility. My wife found what she was looking for (sofa, loveseat, and ottoman) and it was at a reasonable price. The furniture was delivered Friday. When I got home my wife informed me that they were not the correct pieces. My wife called and got the runaround. Finally when I called I spoke to one of the managers and he informed me (after a lot of asking) that my furniture was still in Detroit. He also informed me that we had been charged for the set delivered. $100 dollars more than the set we wanted. He acted like he was doing me a favor by charging me the price for the set we wanted. He did absolutely nothing to try and rectify the situation. I then lost it and told him that he needed to make things right. They waived the delivery charge and sales tax, but our furniture won't be delivered until next Wednesday. The bottom line is that if I have to force a company to take care of their customers, they won't get my business again. I would not shop there unless your expectations are low.
