Friends of the Granite Bay Library

I come here for mother goose on the loose for my kids and they really love it. The teachers are very engaging with the kids. It is getting really busy though and needs a bigger room.
The faculty is older, but a library is a library in my opinion.
There is a play area for young kids and is very convenient for a rainy day

We love this library branch. They have a great collection of books, dvds and music, and whatever they don't have they can have sent down from their other branches. They have very knowledgeable children's librarians and their Mother Goose on the Loose storytimes are really excellent. They also have other programs including Paws to read where kids can read to therapy dogs, and lego club where kids can show up and create with the library's extensive collection.

Real gem. Quite, easy accessible books. Break out rooms for group study are great! Great for HS or college meet up!

As with all libraries in Placer County the GB library has a large selection of books for children, teens and adults. Special to the Granite Bay library is their Friends of the Library activities. Love their Dr. Seuss Birthday party!!

Placer county library conveniently located on Douglas in GB in between Roseville and Folsom. As long as you live in Placer you can use their facility and amenities.
