Tolbert's Restaurant

That is what they are famous for. Truthfully, the chili is good but i like some of their other items like their tortilla soup and their jalopeno poppers more. You can't beat the location on Historic Main Street. Great place to window shop for a little bit and then go to Tolberts and get lunch or dinner.

Food always tastes better when you are in a neat atmosphere with good service, both of which Tolberts has. I love the Frito Pie, and the nachos are really good if you are going late night on the weekend to see a band. If you want the full effect of their food and service, I would recommend going not on one of the festival weekends. Grapevine has Main Street Days in the Spring and Grapefest in the Fall and Tolberts and some of the other restaurants can get extra packed those weekend. They do a good job with the crowds but I like it better during the week for lunch when it is not quite as crowded.

The food is great and I love the atmosphere. We head over to Tolberts almost every weekend for some awesome down home food. Location can't be beat.
