The facility is inviting and everyone is welcoming and friendly. You can tell the staff truly care for the patients just by seeing their interactions as you walk down the halls. The place is kept very clean and I would highly recommend anyone to go there.

My 92 year old mother was sent here after a hospitalization for rehab strengthening. She has been in other facilities in other states several times for similar reasons, and stated that this was by far the best experience she had ever had in rehab. She had a large private room, which is good because she is hard of hearing, and the CNA's were all good to her and responsive. A charge nurse was especially responsive to our needs. Above all, she LOVED the food, the PT and OT staff, and could leave within a week. Of course, one of us was with her for 10 hours a day every day, and I cannot speak for the long-term care side, although I witnessed several instances of compassionate treatment of residents from that side. We were wary going in, but were very satisfied and impressed, and would certainly use this facility again. Kudos to nurses, CNA's, kitchen staff, PT and OT staff. Thank you.

Just like the other review states - If you care anything about your loved one, don't send them to Guilford Healthcare. The staff including the doctor is horribly incompetent. They were caught lying about procedures, not giving meds as prescribed and "drugging up" when unnecessary.

My mom came to guilford health care for a short time and that was long enough. ..she left with a broken arm

that she did not come in with!!

The staff is not friendly, helpful, or trained. Its dirty and old, the administrator will do nothing to help, she is only concerned with herself.. Whatever you do, don't put anyone you love here!
