The Muhlenberg Career Development Center, located in Greenville, Ky., is a part of the Job Corps Region II. It is operated by Horizons Youth Services and offers professional development courses. The center provides high school diploma, college and General Equivalency Diploma programs for students of Madisonville Community College and Madisonville Technical College. It has a staff of professional and trained instructors to provide advanced skills training for students to be enrolled in colleges and pursuing career-oriented courses. Additionally, the Muhlenberg Career Development Center provides vocational courses in various fields, such as business technology that includes training in Word processing, office assistant, business math and English skills, culinary arts, health, heavy construction equipment mechanic, painting, plumbing and pharmacy technician. It also organizes workshops to provide practical training to students and emphasizes the development of social and leadership skills. The Muhlenberg Career Development Center additionally organizes extracurricular and sports activities, such as art and crafts, billiards, basketball, soccer and volleyball.
